5:30 p.m. – Annual General Meeting


The purpose of the Annual General Meeting is to:

  1. Receive the financial statements and the report of the Association’s auditors;
  2. Appoint auditors for the ensuing year;
  3. Elect five (5) Directors to the Board  (1 Multi-Sport Learning Facilitator Rep,1 PSO Rep, 1 University Rep, 1 Advanced Coach Diploma-SK Rep, 1 Member at Large);
  4. Receive a report from the Board of Directors, Committees and Delegates
  5. Deal with any Resolutions brought forward; and
  6. Deal with any Bylaw changes brought forward.

Individuals who wish to attend the annual general meeting must first register by June 21st at Noon. Instructions for the meeting and the meeting link will only be provided to those who register.


Call for Nominations

Do you have a passion for coaching? CAS is seeking nominations for its Board of Directors. Five (5) two-year term positions are available.

Provincial Sport Organization (PSO) rep – elected at the AGM. Must be a PSO volunteer or staff person actively involved in coaching or coaching development. The nomination must be endorsed by the PSO they represent.

Advanced Coaching Diploma-SK rep –elected at the AGM. Must be currently enrolled in the Advanced Coaching Diploma (ACD) program or a graduate of the ACD program.

University rep – elected at the AGM. Must be actively involved in coaching or coaching development at the University level.

Multi-Sport Learning Facilitator rep – elected at the AGM. Must be an active, current NCCP multi-sport learning facilitator.

Member at Large – elected at the AGM. Must be actively involved in coaching or interested in furthering the development of coaching in the province.
