After guiding numerous divers across senior and junior levels to claim medals at various national and international events, with many finishing top of the podium, Mary Carroll was named Coach of the Year for the fourth time in five years. Under her guidance, one athlete claimed bronze and broke records as the most junior diver to compete in a senior level competition.
Carroll was announced as a recipient for the award on Jan. 29 at Queensbury Convention Centre in Regina, which also celebrated another five recipients in the Excellence Awards categories and nine in the Recognition Award categories.
In honour of their 10 plus years of giving back in their sport, Melissa Lock (Team Handball), Mark Lord (Soccer), Harvey Weber (Athletics) and David Wassill (Adaptive Waterski) were handed Coach Dedication Awards.
