Coaches can apply to receive the CAS-CSCS Performance Sport Coaching Certificate.
To qualify, coaches must complete the following:
- Certified Comp-Intro* or equivalent and minimum 3 years coaching experience
- Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders
- NCCP Make Ethical Decisions and Online Evaluation
- NCCP Developing Athletic Abilities
- NCCP Coaching and Leading Effectively
- NCCP Performance Planning
- NCCP Manage a Sport Program
- NCCP Prevention and Recovery
- NCCP Advanced Practice Planning
- NCCP Managing Conflict and Online Evaluation
- NCCP Psychology of Performance
- NCCP Leading Drug Free Sport and Online Evaluation
- CAC Safe Sport Training
When your application is received, CAS and CSCS will confirm your NCCP module, eLearning and evaluation completion in the Locker, and your Respect in Sport Activity Leaders training. Following confirmation, will receive a certificate by mail for your achievement as as CAS-CSCS Performance Sport Coach.
