DESCRIPTION:After completing the NCCP Prevention and Recovery module\, you will be able to: \n\nidentify common injuries in your sport and develop appropriate prevention and recovery strategies to keep your athletes injury-free during training and competition;\noffer valuable information and guidance on hydration\, nutrition\, and sleep as they relate to injury prevention;\nchoose skills and drills that help athletes perform appropriate warm-ups and cool-downs;\ndevelop functional evaluations for an athlete’s return to play; and\nimplement recovery and regeneration techniques to help an athlete maintain or return to optimal performance post-injury.\n\nDuration: 8 hours \n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\nSaturday\, December 13th\n1:30pm – 6:00pm\n\n\nSunday\, December 14th\n1:30pm – 5:30pm\n\n\n\nCost: $95 \nFor individuals seeking support from the Indigenous Coaches and Officials Program please contact Randi Keshane at rkeshane@sasksport.ca
