NCCP Competition - Introduction

The Competition - Introduction context is designed for coaches of athletes moving from the FUNdamentals to the Learn to Train and Train to Train stages of long-term athlete development. This context includes Multi-sport workshops such as Make Ethical Decisions and Introduction to Competition Part A and B.



NCCP Competition - Development

The Competition - Development context is designed for coaches of athletes ranging from the Train to Train to the Train to Compete stages of long-term athlete development. This context includes the 9 Competition Development Multi-sport modules.



Coach Developer Core Training

Coach Developer Core Training provides Coach Developers with the skills to perform their role. Coach Developers include Learning Facilitators (LFs), Coach Evaluators (CEs), and Master Coach Developers (MCDs).

To qualify for selection as a Coach Developer, an individual must have successfully completed the online evaluation of Make Ethical Decisions and successfully demonstrated his or her competency by completing the relevant role-specific pathway.



NCCP Fundamental Movement Skills

The National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Fundamental Movement Skills Workshop, presented by TeamSnap, provides a comprehensive introduction to the fundamental movement skills and the core-competencies of the NCCP, with the help of significant hands-on activities.



Aboriginal Coaching Module

The ACM is a professional development training tool for Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal coaches who coach Aboriginal athletes, as they become certified through the NCCP.



Coaching Athletes with a Disability

To ensure that all athletes experience a positive, safe, and inclusive sport experience, the Coaching Association of Canada (CAC) has developed the National Coaching Certification Program's (NCCP) Coaching Athletes with a Disability eLearning module. This eLearning module provides coaches the knowledge to deliver quality, positive sport experience for athletes with behavioural, intellectual, physical and sensory disabilities. Coaching Athletes with a Disability NCCP training is a resource for coaches who are new to coaching athletes with a disability.
